Not impossible but highly improbable....Of course, the same was said about the Giants 2 runs  recently.

But there is a difference. The Cowboys Offense is right now better than those 2 Giants teams, Hands down. but their defense is not...and let's face it, Eli had 2 GREAT playoff runs but his defense was the key to those super bowls. Dallas's Defense played it's BEST game of the season yesterday but I am not sold on one game. Here is what it looks like for them going forward.

First round will probably be Arizona, which i hope is NOT the case. I say this because Arizona is not the same with the third stringer. ..no team would be. So  I anticipate Dallas will easily win that game. Detroit does not have a stones throw in hell to win in GB and Seattle is NOT going to lose at home to ST. Louis, but I can see Arizona dropping the final game to SF in SF. That means we get the booby prize in Arizona. Even if  we wind up with Detroit, I don't see us losing to them as well. Detroit is just getting by barely winning yesterday against a terrible Chicago team with a horrendous back up QB.

But then, it's off to GB. Now, if we had GB at home, I really think we could win. but GB is a VERY different team out in GB averaging 41 points a game..and only NE held them to under 30 ( 26 ) but still lost. And NE's defense is MUCH better than ours. I think we could put up 31 against GB easy but GB could easily put up 45 against us in Lambeau. Non one stops Rogers there.

So, I think we get by round one, but the fun stops in round 2...which gentlemen, is nothing to be ashamed of at all.

sign11 Very confusing, you say we can beat Ariz. but you don't want to play them? Why should we be ashamed of the Cowboys, none of us picked them lower than 8-8 except you, and Adam.

You have been enamored by GB all season, everytime you post you bring them up. Sorry buddy Cowboys are as good as your team. Don't forget Romo is no virgin he has beaten your Packers at Lambeau before. I for one am not thinking SB, there's to much football left to play before that.

Right now I'm worrying about the Redskins game, and trying to figure out how important it is in the scheme of things.

We are undefeated on the road, went into Seattle and slapped them around. Now we are supposed to care about an overly hyped team in GB, LMFAO

I just read the Cowboys playoff and this is what the Dallas Morning News said about Arizona.

>>> * The only way the Cowboys as the No. 3 seed can play Arizona in the first round is if Dallas loses to Washington and the Detroit-Green Bay game finishes in a tie. <<<

Nope it looks like Dallas will play the loser of the Green Bay / Detroit game. Only way that changes is if they tie.

2 things...First of all I am a Cowboys fan...not Green Bay...but I try it see reality. GB is a MONSTER at home.

Second..I said I don't want to play Arizona because I feel if Dallas does and wins Cowboy's haters will say that Dallas only won because Arizona lost their QB..and although that is not necessarily true, Arizona IS not the same team without their QB...Dallas would be lost in the sauce without Romo. So, I would rather play Detroit so there is no ammunition for the haters who tease on Dallas for only winning 1 playoff games in the last decade +
