Emmit Smith had the exact same surgery and missed one game. So there is that.

They are saying its a broken finger on his left hand, and that he could still play this next game.

They are not mentioning anything about being out more than 1 game.

I read where this one jerk wrote: Sorry Murray got hurt, but hope it keeps him from getting Emmitts record. What a load of crap

My favorites are the ****** who keep saying anybody can run behind this line. I listened to a panel of ex-pro's talking about Murray yesterday.

They all agreed that now Indy has a whole new world of things their defense can do with Murray out of the game.

Another twist on how things can just happen, and change everything. Murray has the running title in hand and that could be slipping away. I'm sure if Murray gets his way, he'll play. Hopefully we'll know a lot more after weds. practice.

To be honest I'm more worried about Martin and Free. Berny is okay but is not an every down player, Parnell looked okay against the Eagles, standing in for Free.

This might also be the time to bring up Williams and see what he's got. I know, who would they have to wave to do this?

Is it a coincidence that Romo is having his best year as a pro the same time as we get a running game?

and...

Did everyone enjoy those 3 td passes to Dez? That was because the Eagles stacked the box to stop Murry.

If no Murry I see the Colts as favorites Sunday. We know Luck is going to air it out against this defense.

My favorite drive of the game..btw...was the scoring drive after the Eagles went ahead...Murry had runs of 1-1-2 and 21. The scored on a short td from the two. The key was Murry had 12 plays of no or minus yards and they kept running the ball. The Eagles had to play the run nearly every down.

Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray was "going through drills and catching passes" at Wednesday's practice, reports NFL.com. ESPN.com reports Murray participated in all individual drills despite having his left hand wrapped.
"I think we need to see something," coach Jason Garrett told reporters. "So we'll take it day by day and see how he progresses."
Murray underwent surgery Monday to fix a broken bone in his left hand. He leads the NFL with 351 carries for 1,687 yards and 11 touchdowns. He wasn't expected to participate in team drills as the team eases him back.
