Randle arrested

By Mike Fisher
FRISCO - Dallas Cowboys running back Joseph Randle was arrested on Monday for shoplifting, Frisco Police confirm.
Randle, 22, was arrested for Class B Misdemeanor Theft ($50-$500) for allegedly stealing $80 worth of cologne and $40 worth of underwear from a Dillardís in Frisco.
Randle, the 2013 fifth-round pick who has 16 carries for 113 yards while playing in a backup role to NFL leading rusher DeMarco Murray for the 5-1 Cowboys, was booked and released on bond.
Desperado

I would simply cut him right now and bring up that kid from the PS.

He'll probably be fined and it will be a dead issue.

Cut Randle? No way Jose. The kid is young and stupid but he is a baller.

You are right, the RKG is a guy who plays and never quits. It has nothing to do with shop lifting geek

Cowboys are finally relevant because of their record. I don't think this is really the kind of sht that makes JJ happy.

Will not be surprised at all if they cut him, I'm sure it will probably be based on how well his teammates like him?

IRVING - Joseph Randle apologized to his Cowboys teammates on Wednesday morning, practiced at midday and then met the media in the afternoon to announce that his arrest for shoplifting is "the biggest mistake Iíve ever made in my life. I have never got in any kind of trouble in my whole life.'

Running back Joseph Randle says his arrest for shoplifting, which has make him an instant butt of jokes nationally and has earned him a massive fine from his Dallas Cowboys, is "the biggest mistake Iíve ever made in my life. I have never got in any kind of trouble in my whole life.''

Team officials tell CowboysHQ.com that they view Randle, 22, as more of a "knucklehead'' than a "troublemaker'' and so Randle's stated view -- "This is just something I have to learn from and move forward'' -- is hopefully an attainable goal.

Randle was on the practice field Wednesday at Valley Ranch, which was dotted with other news items. DeMarco Murray rested with an illness. Defensive lineman Anthony Spencer, tackle Tyron Smith and quarterback Tony Romo all have minor injuries that contributed to them sitting, and Rolando McClain has personal business in Alabama that earned him his leave. But all eyes were on Randle due to his Monday arrest on a misdemeanor charge of theft for shoplifting a pack of underwear and a bottle of cologne from a Dillardís in Frisco.

Randle apologized to teammates and coaches privately, and then after being told he'd be hit with a "significant'' fine (we believe it could be as much as $30,000, about one game check) met the media to do the same.

ďI know thereís big-time consequences for things in life,Ē Randle said. ďI disappointed a lot of people who really care about me like my brothers on my team, the coaches around here, this whole organization, people who have supported me, my family, my dad. I let a lot of people down. I am really just trying my best to make it up to them and do whatever Iíve got to do to get past this.Ē

Randle said the incident is "not a distraction,'' but actually it's too late for that. His teammates would like to build on their 5-1 record rather than be dealing with this.

ďIt was hard coming back into the locker room, looking at people who care about me in the eyes, knowing that I did something stupid,Ē Randle said. ďI had to talk to them about it. I canít just go like nothing happened. I had to address the issues. ... It means a lot to be out there with my team. I love this game and I love the team I play for. I try my best to rep the star the right way. I didnít do that. I am going to try my best to make it up to my teammates and all of the people that really care about me.''

Okay now I feel sorry for the kid, its hard to believe 80 dollars worth of crap can end up costing you so much!  hiding

Nobody can explain this kind of stupidity to me?
