Our favorite Cowboy

Was not Ryan Leaf! I feel sorry for the guy in a way. He was reduced to a QB coach for a college team and then and then..

Its a shame, that somebody with so many things going for him ends up like this. But it seems the recuring theme here is the pain killers. My guess is it has to do with football, and trying to play while injured. Then the adiction, I hope he stays in Canada, if he comes back here its off to jail. At least in Canada they'll help him with his addiction.

When you brought him up I imediately thought of the tragedy that became Druckenmiller. (not sure about the spelling) Druckenmiller spelled the end of Bill Walsh with the 9ers. He was working as a scout and consultant for the 9ers. He said draft Jake the Snake, and Donahue said no. After Druckenmiller was drafted Bill Walsh walked away from the 9ers for good. We all know how that story played out.

If you can use ANY Cowboy, then I would choose Tom Landry.
His work ethic, determination, and ingenuity made the Cowboys into America's team.
If you have to choose a player, I guess i would choose Emmit Smith.
He had grit, guts, and heart.
