Leadership my take

Who are the leaders on the Cowboys, I'll call it the way I see it since I'm not in the locker room.

I just watched a display of the most childish behavior once again. Dez Brant throwing things...yeah he's a leader young guys like Scadrick and Williams are following his leadership. Now Scandrick is throwing things and having a tantrum, Williams was up in Weedens face.

The real leaders of this team are the guys voted captains. This is Romo's team and children should be seen and not heard. The leaders need to have a private talk with guys its getting out of hand.

I've seen Romo many times try and avoid Bryant on the sideline so he can look at the pictures from upstairs. Garrett needs to take control of his brats. They need to vent on their coaches not the QBs and each other.

Bryant said this week he wants to be an Icon...thus changing to JZ for help. Why not say I want to be the best WRer in football and go on the field and prove it then STFU.

Having played WRer at the University level, and seeing most of the great WRers of all time. Sorry Bryant can't act like an azz like Moss and still get in the Hall of Fame....he doesn't have the talent. For every great catch Dez makes he drops one. Plus he has a hard time getting separation. Which always causes him to make an impossible catch.

I started this out about leadership and then almost high jacked my own thread Ha ha. Leadership is on the field, you lead by example. The guys on the field will seek out the vets for advice. This kiddy show on the Dallas sideline is getting out of hand. Act like professionals or get off the field.

The motto should be we may not win this one, but we will continue with dignity.

Times have changed, I remember when Butch Johnson and Hollywood were driving Landry crazy.

Young people today think all that yelling sets them apart, and actually they are just yelling to themselves.

Weeden was horrible, but early I saw Romo trying to help him out on the bench. I saw Witten talking with him on the sidelines. The guy needed the whole team to rally behind him.  The guy was terrible his first time on the Cowboys big stage. But I'd not sacrifice Tony I'd give Weeden another shot.

I have to admit my perception is shut up talk quietly with the receiver coach, and Linehan and then go do something.

People forget Dez is really not that very bright. What has happened to all that money he was supposed to get from Jordon?

I realize BSPN wants to talk about Cowboys leadership. Its there and Tony keeps proving why he's a leader.

Bryant keeps proclaiming himself a leader, I've yet to see a teammate refer to him as that.

London: Getting back on track is the whole point of this trip," Dez tells me. "We've got to get this thing right. As one of the leaders of this team, it's my job to help us do that."
El Kabong

Others on this team are immerging as leaders, like Melton. But yes they are proving themselves on the field not in the media.

I believe the WRer corp looks up to Dez, but that's about it.

THE BIGCOVER-UP....I was watching the NFL Network this morning. They went to the Police department where Bryant Lives. The Police have been at his house 6 times this year, for various things, one of those a sleeping child locked in a car.

The Cowboys have him in an anger management program as I'm writing this. Yeah this is a real leader LMAO.

He's also the only Cowboy I can ever remember who said show me the money.
El Kabong

We'll have to see how much money they show him in the off season. His agent should really ask him just to shut up and see how it plays out.

Dez plays with a passion and sometimes the passion gets the best of him but the kid really wants to win and won't accept losing.

The definition of a winner who hates to lose more than he wants to win.

That's Dez.
Nightrider

Can't wait until Jordon and Tiger start putting in their 2 cents lol

I think everybody would agree with you, but the guy is far from being a team leader.
