Hamstring injuries

IRVING ó Three players with hamstring injuries were the only Cowboys missing at practice Thursday.

Linebacker Bruce Carter, receiver Dwayne Harris and cornerback Morris Claiborne were not seen participating.

Claiborne, who has not played in the last two games, was doing rehabilitation work off to the side. Carter was in the teamís weight room.

With Claiborne still sidelined, Sterling Moore was working with the first team at the third cornerback spot. Rookie B.W. Webb had manned that spot but has struggled in the teamís nickel package.

Glad Miles is still healthy, but Tony needs to get him in the game.

How bad is Carter's hammy issue?  Hopefully not too bad, but I'll be honest:  I hope this means Holloman gets a chance to play some significant snaps.  He seems like a playmaker.  And Lord knows we need some of those.

Ditto with Sterling Moore.  It's a smart move to move him to the third corner role in front of BW, in my opinion.  BW has struggled HARD.

It comes down to the fact, they need to get the best players on the field.

Or maybe its a ploy to get some of these guys out of their comfort zone, and start producing to save their jobs. Some of these players better wake up and realize this could be their last chance.

Haven't seen a report on Carter, but gezzz he has looked bad.

I'm begging, please, please, no more injuries.

You would think some Olympic track coach could tell them how to stop the hamstring problem?

JJ has an affiliation with Michael Johnsons training center, FYI. Ya know the gold medal winning track guy?

This team can't get off the bus without pulling a hamstring.

the cowboys obviously need a new trainer.
the fact that so many players have gone down with injuries and nobody is looking into this boggles the mind.

i would be shocked if the cowboys didn't look into a new trainer this offseason.

Yeah I forgot JJ owned part of that business, and I rememeber some of the guys worked out there during the off season. Would be interesting to find out if Miles ever did?

Carter seems to have had a bad time adjusting to the 4-3, but given time he'll come around.
