Denver

It's now or never for quarterback Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos. The deck is stacked, the pump is primed, the stars are aligned, the bags are packed and the door is open. If the Manning-led Broncos can't get the job done now, they might not get another opportunity.

When the Broncos take the field Thursday night to kick off the NFL season against the Baltimore Ravens, they are not just seeking revenge for last season's playoff loss—they are seeking redemption. A win will not erase what happened on that frigid night last January, but it is one of the 19 steps needed to make the Broncos forget.

The Broncos have a two-year window to win Manning his second ring, but the window will never be more open that it will be in 2013. That's why it is imperative that the Broncos win now before the window slams shut.

The two-year window was guaranteed when Manning passed his 2013 physical. That formality guaranteed Manning $40 million over the next two years, which means he eats up over 16 percent of the team's salary cap. While Manning is key to any deep postseason run, his salary is also the reason why 2013 is such a vital year for the Broncos.

SORRY NEVER IS A LONG TIME>>>>BUT NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN IS WHAT DENVER FANS SHOULD BE SAYING.

Peyton is done

The thing about Peyton is he has, over his career, self destructed but he is a media darling so they ignore it.

He truly sucked against the Ravens and his int gave the Ravens a field goal to send them to the SB.

He pulls more dumb crap than Romo. All that being said, they beat the Ravens tonight because it's not a playoff game.

Thanks bevomav, without this post I forgot there is a football game tonight. I think that nobody for the ravens will beat Denver. I know the experts are picking them already to win the SB. I feel the Manning days are at an end. I never like either of them anyway.

Dernver sucks, I can't stand the Ravens but go Ravens

Looks like Peyton had a big night
Desperado

Yeah he had a career night, I still hate him and his brother.

Boy, nothing like running up the score. I still am not sure if it was Denver or the Ravens. They looked gassed in the first quarter.

Best quote I heard today...."I'll be glad when the preseason ends Denver Ravens game sucked"....now that was funny.

The announcers did mention that this is the first time a Super Bowl Champion has had to start on the road. Seems the Baltimore Orioles had the date first and refused to move their game........
and...starting out at Denver and that altitude really hurt the Ravens. I am not saying they could have won the game but they did run out of gas..

The Ravens looked laughable, but in this cap strapped league anybody can be SB champions
