LeSean McCoy Has Special Christmas Message for Eagles Fans

By Andrew Porter

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Monday Night on 94WIP’s Player Lounge show, Eagles running back LeSean McCoy had a special Christmas message for Eagles fans.

“I just want to wish everybody a Merry Christmas, and the right way to do it is, Sunday night—even though Christmas is before Sunday—Sunday night just relax,” McCoy said.

“Turn on the channel, watch your birds manhandle the Dallas Cowgirls. Let’s go. Merry Christmas!”

Dez Bryant tweaked back on Wednesday

Posted by Josh Alper on December 26, 2013, 9:39 AM EST

By the end of this week, there may be injury issues for every member of the Cowboys.

Wide receiver Dez Bryant tweaked his back at practice on Wednesday and earned a limited designation from the team for his work during the session. Calvin Watkins of ESPNDallas.com reports that the team does not believe it is anything serious, but Bryant’s got a history of back issues that have hampered him over the years.

One flareup occurred in Week 17 last season when Bryant needed a wheelchair to get off the team’s plane after their season-ending loss to the Redskins. While it appears significantly less serious, Bryant joins Tony Romo and Sean Lee on a list of injured players that the Cowboys really wish were healthy heading into this Sunday’s game with the Eagles.

Believe it or not, there was actually some positive injury news for Dallas on Wednesday. Wide receiver Dwayne Harris practiced in limited fashion after missing the last two games with a hamstring injury and cornerback Morris Claiborne was a full participant as he tries to return from his own hamstring injury.
MrMiyamoto

Well folks, this week's game is going to be stress free for me.  I'm expecting the worst but hoping for the best.  Should be interesting to see what kind of stops Garrett is willing to call now that Romo is out.  I expect some trickery in some fashion.
Hawk

Carr can handle that smerf Jackson, the rest of the D-will have to stop McCoy.

Orton will cause some problems for the Eagles defense, he has a quick release. Maybe we'll see some of those TE formations they promised in pre-season.
zigomanis18

KITNA ?

Are they serious?   LOL !
zigomanis18

Here's the key : Demarco Murry !

We NEED to ball control. If not we lose. Period end.

If Murray can run consistently, and I think he can, that means Orton is not that much of a factor. We know the eagles will move the ball against the seive called the Cowboys defense, So we have to keep the ball away from them.

Actually Carr our 50 mil dollar man, can handle Jackson the jerk. Carr has been beaten bad by tall recievers, not because of bad coverage, they just out leaped him.

I can see the Cowboys winning this the same way the Vikings did.

The Eagles are all mouth, like they have been for years. I like our chances in this game, I' hate to see what they will say about Romo if Orton wins it though.

My prediction, this place will be a ghost town for awhile if we don't win.
Nightrider

Cowboys win this one, not going anywhere, I'll still be here in the off season.
Desperado

This is a no win scenario for Tony, we'll win and then they will attack Tony
MrMiyamoto

We've got to have a bus driver mentality.  When Romo went down in 2010 and we played with Kitna, we went 5-3 (we were 1-7 prior to this) by running the ball, being conservative, and playing solid on defense.  I still believe we have some talent on the defensive side of the ball.  We'll need them to show up for this one.

Our CBs match up well with the small receivers the Eagles have. I do believe that is our advantage. The media will hype Orton, because I think we win this game. Orton can play like an all Pro, but he also can play like a scrub. So we will see which Orton shows up Sunday.

But I think our defense will show up, and try to save Kiffins job.
LoneStar

I'll take the Cowboys to win this one, its about time lady luck shined her azz on us for a change.
mbc63

Really folks .... garrett is the best coach ever  and he is not playing for his job. sad to say after garrettt finishes 8 n 8 .... mr 500 will be gone. does not matter who ole fake face brings in the results will be the same 8 n 8. the talent has been there before Bill got there an was even better when he left ... Hmmm .
MrMiyamoto

I was a big advocate of The Big Tuna when he was here.  If he'd have stayed on for a few more years, I think he could have won us at least one Super Bowl.

Garrett is so far ahead of some coaches in this league. At least 8 coaches will be fired Monday, one of them will be Shanahan.

Glad to see you MBC, but I see you are still telling the same bad story. Have you stayed away because you still don't like Garrett?

Gruden wants the Raiders job, so Chucky won't becoming here any time soon. Cowboys will win this game, and Garrett might get an extension this off season lol.

As for the fattuna, he was always about himself and never about the team.
Just the opposite when it comes to Garrett

NFL network said eagles will tear us up maybe score 60 points today. Hope the Cowboys are paying attention to this Bullsht.

Orton will shine today, or be cut its in his hands. If he wins its worth another 10 mil for him cyclops_ani
El Kabong

Thanks MBC for showing up and putting your gloom on us, we have missed Adam, somebody needed to take his place.

Orton is going to light Philly's azz up, Garrett will have a good game plan today.

Cowboys go 9-7, then they will light the 49ers azz up in the playoffs.
BluenSilver4evr

HELL YA^ what he said
Hawk

I'm not going to kid myself, Eagles are completely healthy. They will be playing a depleted Cowboys team, I can see why they are confident.

I just hope the guys wearing the star, say we will proceed and not embarrass ourselves or the star.

Cowboys 34-31

Hawk

I have one tune in my mind, and I can't shake it, the Doors, this is the end....I sure hope I'm not thinking about that tonight.
Hawk

Okay I'm already drunk, the Cowboys are about to kick it off, if you think they will lose then kiss myazz lol.
GOD wills it
Hawk

Come on Murray that sucked
Hawk

I'm done goodnight
BluenSilver4evr

Cowboy scrubs go down fighting no shame in this game
Desperado

I think we all knew what the final result would be, but Damn they gave it a shot. JJ should turn off the media crap, no need to listen to their stupid azzes.

Some rants..

I am so pissed at the defense. If they play any where close to this, before last night, they win the East.

Plus, am I the only one who noticed that throwing a slant to Miles Austin is a huge mistake. I am so done with his sorry azz. Glad to see him go.

Ditto for Sean Lee. Trade him, cut him, kill him. I don't care, just get rid of him.

Monte Kiffen..Time to bury him. Hate is too weak a word for my feelings on his sorriness.

That's all..
Hawk

Actually it was Witten who couldn't catch the ball and Murray fumbled. But why let facts get in the way. We lost and nobody gave us a chance anyway. Orton was no Romo, but it was a good game and we had a chance. Just don't piss in the wind, chances are it would be a mistake.

My Rant...get rid of Dez Bryant, no way can he ever show up in a big qame

I'm glad you love Austin..$9 million this season for what, not finishing routes and being worthless.
Hawk

LMAO Bevo...its a rant and I know tomoorow you will different
BevoMav

Word is Kiffin is gone and Callahan is right behind him..also...By the end of the season, JG and Callahan barely spoke..(his according to Mike Fisher) which bring me to this..................Head coach in Cleveland was fired..his OC is one Norv Turner. Could this happen?

DWare said he is a Cowboy and is willing to take less to stay and help the team...He is due $16 million next season, with $8 of dead money, so if he is cut, the team saves $8 million..

You talked of Witten..$8.4 million committed with $8.2 of dead money..only save $200 K to cut him..

Austin..cap says he stays..they only save $600K if they cut him...but they could cut him after June,
and then they could split the $7 million in dead money....

More later biotches
Hawk

Wrong again...but that's nothing new...you only save 396,000 by cutting Austin, and you still didn't explain how losing to the Eaglea was Austins fault?
zigomanis18

The loss was not Austin's fault.

But on Austin, he was once, again, a no show last night He is the most overpaid overrated useless piece of crap in this league for a receiver. No loss if he left.

But the REAL reason we lost, was, once again, we DID NOT RUN THE F*CKIN BALL!  Murray had 45 first half yards and 6 in the second half. 58 total rushing yards against one of the WORST rushing defenses. WTF? as the second half went on, all Orton did was throw and throw again! Orton had 358 yards and played great. But, throwing constantly you HAD to expect a mistake eventually.

Again, get RID of the red headed step child Garrett !

 Amen Zigo ..
the run thing goes back to when Jimmy left.

I remember games when Smith would have 58 yrds at the half and not get 100 ... 58 at half by one rusher ... i would likr to think ment you established the run .

yet we are talking about jerry the great .

    Good day ...
