Amazing Stat on Romo

Romo has a QB rating of 104 in Cowboys losses. I have never see such a stat in my life..Neither have you, because it has never been done before.

Nightrider

Theres only one person here that ever Blamed Tony for losses. Well I should say used to be here, that was Adam, and now he's crying somewhere because the Giants are down and out.

The team sucks, can they be fixed, at this point in time, I don't think so. It would take an act by God himself to fix all the problems with the Cowboys.

But what the hell, there is still Lady Luck, maybe she'll smile on us

LoneStar

Just keep the faith, that's what we do
Nightrider

Right now the only stat that counts is wins, the whole team looked bad, That includes Romo

I have been saying since the Yahoo days, if you want to fix the team, fix the defense.

This season, the Cowboys drafted Williams and Escobar. Three picks after Escobar, the Ravens picked a safety named Elam. He is going to be the defensive player of the year. Meanwhile Escobar has been doing nothing..

I thought they both were a waste of good picks, but now I can see Williams replacing Bryant when we trade him.

Dallas is not trading Bryant. You need to stay off that Bellize Bomb Smoke..

I seriously doubt that's even a consideration among the Dallas brass.  However, I'd potentially be open to it.  Reason?  Romo makes his receivers, not typically the other way around.  Additionally, it saves us from having to pay him the exorbitant money he's due.  This would allow us to get some defense for the stretch run of Romo's career.  Just a thought.

The Cowboys once upon a time traded the best running back in football. Bryant is not the best receiver, but the media keeps hyping this guy as some great talent. Sorry I don't see it, I say trade him now, he's becoming the next Diva.

Yes save the money, and get a good pick for him. This guy can't beat double coverage, and drops to many balls.

Sorry Bevo, I just don't see what the media is selling. Yeah that Caribbean rum is frying my brain lol

Its way to early to be firing people, trading people, we have some games left to win!

Right on I agree, gee I'm starting to sound like a whiner, lmao....I need to lighten up a little, I still have the faith for one more week

You can't win consistently without a good, at least, quarterback. But even an "elite" QB needs a supporting cast. Most people will acknowledge that fact, then quickly move on to talking about a QB's won/lost record as though nothing else matters.

"Tom Brady is a winner! He's clutch!"

He has definitely had some great moments, although he won his last SB a decade ago. The one season he missed with an injury the Patriots fell apart, only going 11-5 without him.

"Drew Brees is awesome!"

He has a ring (the year the Saints defense led the NFL in takeaways), and lights up the scoreboard, but how did he do last season when the Saints were dead last in defense? Hmmm...7-9. I guess he wasn't "elite" enough to put up 40 every week.

"Eli sucks...but he's been clutch in the playoffs!"

Yep, he led the Giants to a game-winning TD when NY ruined the Patriots perfect season. That gave his team an astounding 17 points. In his 2 SB wins the Giants have scored a total of 40 points - 20 a game. Meanwhile, their defense held Brady's Pats to 17 or less both games. What a great job by Eli.

"Ben Roethlisberger makes play at crunch time!"

He did lead a nice drive, aided by a couple of fantastic catches by Santonio Holmes, to beat the upstart Cardinals. His other SB win, he had one of the 5 worst performances of any QB in SB history. Fortunately, his defense (and the officials) only allowed Seattle 10 points.

The point is no "great" QB wins on his own. Troy Aikman doesn't win 3 SBs with a garbage defense and a mid-range running game. Did Aikman do his share? Absolutely. But he didn't do it alone.
